Stradbroke Island launches new website

One of Brisbane's world class tourist destinations now has a website to call it's own. Stradbroke Island residents and business partners Brenda Papworth, Steve Liesegang and Greg Harper have worked long and hard on the project which has now come to fruition.

Bluesky were contacted and subsequently commissioned to design and produce the site which covers many aspects of the island and acts as a community resource and an invaluable source of information to potential visitors.

From Bluesky's point of view this project was quite simply one of the most enjoyable and satisfying projects we've ever worked on.

Stanwell Opens Barron Gorge Visitor Centre

Stanwell is a Queensland Government Owned Corporation that owns and operates a portfolio of power stations encompassing diverse technologies, including coal-fired thermal, wind and hydroelectric power.

After numerous successful projects for Stanwell we were recently commissioned to design signage and a new display system for their newly built visitors centre at Barron Gorge Hydro Power Station.

Located on the Barron River, just outside of Cairns and within the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. The project gave us an opportunity to utilise spectacular imagery of the region as well as highlight the history and significance of the power station. 

The visitor's centre opened late last year and is free to visit if your in the area.
Clare Sophia launch

Clare is an award-winning photographer that decided to setup her own photography business in 2006. Her business is already building a formidable reputation, shooting weddings and portraits for Australian and overseas clients. 

Clare took advantage of the Bluesky startup 'Package 1'. 

Designing a website to show Clare's photography off at its very best was an enjoyable challenge and since the launch, feedback from her clients has been very positive.  She is already raising her goals for the coming year due to her success.

Elevate is an innovative range of alcoholic energy beverages.

Bluesky were selected to design and produce an innovative and fun flash based site, to appeal to Elevates target market.

Bluesky partner

Bluesky has been chosen to become one of a select number of partners of Pegboard Software in Australia. 

This system allows us to be able to offer an advanced content management system to clients for their web site.

It will enable them to add and amend content and manage all aspects of their website through an easy to use (but sophisticated) browser interface.

It also means that we can offer clients the flexibility and cost effective option of easily adding additional features such as product sections, galleries, e-commerce, events, blogs, forums, banner advertising, SMS enablement, e-marketing and more!

Bluesky are very excited about this new development and how it will enable us to offer our clients an even better solution to their web needs in the future. We look forward to a successful partnership with Pegboard.

Pulse launch

The Pulse Physiotherapy website has now gone live.  Liz Quinn of Pulse was a client who took advantage of our startup 'Package 1', which included the design of her logo, stationery and website.  In addition we also shot all of the photography that gives the new website it's unique look.  Liz will shortly be opening her new studio in Paddington and we wish her the best of luck.
